Why Is NASA Shuttering This Iconic Institute in New York City?

I gave this statement: “I’m now watching people who have dedicated their entire careers to understanding the most pressing issues of our time deciding whether they might have to leave the place they’ve built their life around… This is the only positive takeaway I can find: the fact this administration cares so much about ending climate science just demonstrates how important [this science] is, and I hope the public comes to see that, too.”

MAGA’s demolition of US scientific inquiry is an atrocity. Many of my colleagues, justifiably, did not want their names attached to any critique of the administration, but as an American citizen employed privately, I felt I had to speak out publicly.
